Jack Perry

Jack W Perry has been in the corporate bookselling and publishing business for more than 20 years and most recently started 38enso Publishing Services in January 2009. He advises and consults publishers on a number of issues with a specific focus on digital strategy.

Current clients include Open Road Integrated Media, 3M (eBook Library Services), Highlights for Children and ESPN Books. Past clients include Sideways, Turner Publishers, Harry N. Abrams, Shambhala Publications, Perseus Book Group, Little Pim and NFT Travel Guides.

He also serves as a consultant with Guidepoint Global and Coleman Research Group working with various hedge fund managers on publishing industry trends. Although a huge advocate of eBooks, he still believes there always will be a place for physical books.

Jack has been a Sales and Marketing executive for most of his career, directing Sales departments at Random House (corporate); Scholastic (children’s) and Sourcebooks (independent). He has also been a national book buyer and store manager for Waldenbooks.

He has an MBA from the University of Connecticut, a BA in History and a BS in Finance from the University of Missouri.
