Swanna MacNair is the founder of Creative Conduit and co-founder of Electric Yarn. While Creative Conduit focuses on cross-platform consulting and IP management, Electric Yarn is a next generation Transmedia firm developing, building and (soon) digitally publishing multi-platform children’s media franchises.
Past and present clients include Funny or Die.com, Hyperion & Soho Teen. MacNair previously worked as a literary agent and Head of Film/TV Development and Packaging at Fletcher & Company before which she was the Vice President at Misher Films (based at Paramount Pictures) and a Creative Executive at New Line Cinema. At New Line Cinema, MacNair worked on many literary adaptations including the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Golden Compass, Inkheart, Love & the Time of Cholera and He’s Just Not That Into You. She currently lives in New York City.
